About LaHabra 25 lb. Fog Coat Stucco Coating – X-72 Adobe
There’s something timeless about adobe-style homes—and color plays a big part in that. LaHabra Fog Coat X-72 Adobe delivers that traditional clay-brown look without hiding the texture of stucco or adding artificial shine. The tone is warm and grounded, perfect for blending into natural surroundings or standing out with dark trim and wood beams.
What makes this different from exterior paint? It’s not paint at all. This is a Portland cement-based fog coat that’s meant to become part of the stucco itself. That means no chipping, no peeling, and no sealing required. The pigment is mixed into the material, so the color is built-in—not just sitting on top.
Ideal for full home applications or to blend out repairs and discoloration, Adobe offers deep, natural color in a breathable, flat finish that lets your stucco stay true to its purpose.

LaHabra provides a limited product warranty when fog coat is applied over properly prepared, bare stucco. For full terms, refer to LaHabra documentation or consult with your supplier.
LaHabra Fog Coat X-72 Adobe is available by special order only. It is not stocked in retail locations and must be ordered through certified distributors. Each 25 lb. bag covers between 800 and 1,000 square feet depending on the condition and roughness of your stucco. Delivery generally takes 5–10 business days. For best color consistency, order the full quantity needed for your project at the same time.
Can I use this color coat over existing paint?
No. This product is designed to be applied only on clean, unpainted stucco surfaces.
How long does the color last?
Because it’s integrally colored cement, it resists fading better than surface-applied paint. The tone holds up well in sun-exposed areas.
Does Adobe have an orange undertone?
Not quite—it leans more toward a warm, muted clay-brown. It’s not bright or saturated.
Can I apply with a roller or brush?
No. This material must be spray-applied to bond properly and spread evenly across textured surfaces.
Is it a good choice for historic homes?
Yes. The matte finish and natural tone make it ideal for older or traditional-style homes where keeping character matters.
