About LaHabra 25 lb. Fog Coat Stucco Coating – X-16 Silver Gray

LaHabra Fog Coat in Silver Gray (X-16) is a simple way to give aged stucco a clean, uniform color—without painting. Instead of forming a layer on top of the stucco, this product becomes part of the surface itself, delivering a long-lasting finish that won’t peel or flake over time.

Silver Gray is a cool, understated shade with a slightly chalky appearance once cured. It’s a strong match for homes with modern, industrial, or minimalist design features. This color pairs well with black metal accents, glass, or concrete details and helps to neutralize older, discolored stucco that may have lost its original tone.

Application is straightforward: mix the 25 lb. dry bag with 10 gallons of water in two stages, stir well, strain, and spray evenly across the surface. No rollers, no brushes, and no paint-like gloss. Just a refreshed, matte finish that blends into your building’s character.

Can I apply this product over painted stucco?

No. Fog Coat is designed to bond directly to bare, unsealed stucco. Painted surfaces will prevent proper adhesion.

What’s the difference between Fog Coat and paint?

Fog Coat penetrates and cures as part of the stucco surface. Paint sits on top and can peel or crack over time.

Is one coat enough?

For full, consistent coverage, two coats are recommended. Always spray evenly and allow for proper drying between applications.

Can I use a regular paint sprayer?

Only if modified. Use a professional sprayer, hand pump, or compressed air sprayer with the correct tip and always strain the mix before spraying.

Will the Silver Gray color stay consistent over time?

Yes, the pigment is built into the cement blend and resists fading. It’s designed to weather naturally while keeping its original tone.
